AS ROMA Seal Vucinic Transfer
AS Roma have signed Montenegrin international striker Mirko Vučinić on a permanent basis from US Lecce after agreeing a €12m fee with the Serie B side.
Loan move
The 24-year-old joined Roma on loan two summers ago and the Giallorossi have now secured his transfer after he struck nine goals in 33 league matches for last season's Serie A runners-up. Roma will pay the fee in three annual instalments for Vučinić, who impressed in the club's UEFA Champions League campaign, scoring four times in eight appearances. Meanwhile, FC Internazionale Milano forward Mario Balotelli has signed a new contract with the Nerazzurri committing himself to the Italian champions until 2011. The 17-year-old Balotelli made his Serie A debut in December and played eleven times scoring three goals as the club collected a third consecutive title.
